The growing FAQ

Clear answers for choosing a course and making the most of your growing practice.

Do I need a garden to take a course?

No. Several courses are designed for a sunny windowsill, balcony, patio, or small container. Each catalog entry explains its recommended setting.

Are the courses suitable for beginners?

Yes. Beginner courses explain vocabulary and decisions step by step, while intermediate courses assume basic plant care experience.

What supplies should I have?

Most lessons use common items such as a container with drainage, potting mix, labels, water, and herb seeds or starts. Specific course pages identify any additional materials.

Can I learn at my own pace?

Yes. Course descriptions show expected duration, but you can adapt the sequence to your schedule and local growing conditions.

What does Fallows mean?

Fallows is our name for tracked courses. Select the star on a catalog card to save a course ID in your browser and view it later on the Fallows page.

How does the cart work?

The demonstration cart stores course IDs and quantities in your browser. It calculates a local total, but checkout does not process a real payment.

Do you guarantee plant results?

No. Plants respond to many local conditions. We provide practical education and observation tools rather than guaranteed harvests or outcomes.

How can I request accessibility support?

Use the contact form and describe the support you need. We will review the request and explain available options.
